to capital renewal

Reserve Fund Studies

As buildings age, sometimes maintenance is just not enough.

Good planning is key to making sure you have sufficient funds for major future work. Reserve Fund Studies are essential tools for condominium corporations to plan their capital repairs.

RBEA offers three types of studies, tiered to meet your budgetary needs:

  • compact
  • standard, and
  • detailed.

Each format meets the requirements of the Condominium Act by providing descriptions of the common elements, their condition, and 30 year cost projections for their capital replacement. The studies differ only in their level of detail.

RBEA believes in approaching capital planning in a rational and logical manner, balancing budget restrictions with functional needs and esthetic desires.
